On-Demand: Digital Patient Management – Financial Impact and Opportunities

With healthcare stakeholders concerned regarding stringent payment rules and the potential for a recession in 2023, interest in digital solutions that cut costs has risen substantially.

Dr. Ahmed Siddiqi, Total Joint Replacement Orthopedic Surgeon from the Orthopaedic Institute Brielle Orthopaedics, discusses how the right digital patient management solution can:

  • Empower patients with high-quality remote education and individualized treatment plans
  • Support care team efficiency by enhancing care coordination and reducing time burdens
  • Displace or reduce costs associated with every patient touch point without sacrificing outcomes and patient satisfaction

Dr. Siddiqi explores the typical costs and resources required for a standard patient treatment plan–from pre-operative patient education and preparation to post-operative communication, monitoring, PROM collection, care instruction, and physical therapy–and highlight how implementing the right digital patient management solution can displace or reduce the costs associated with virtually every patient touch point while maintaining strong outcomes and high patient satisfaction.
